About the ‘casters

Your humble reader

My name is Dave Seip, and I am a man saved by grace through faith, and this was not through my own doing, it was a gift of God, so that I cannot boast.  I live in Lewisville, Texas, with my dogs Gus and Lucy.  Great modern preachers like John Piper and Matt Chandler were used by God to preach truth and lead me into maturity, and it is my desire to take the words of another man used mightily by God, Charles H. Spurgeon, and give him a sermon podcast stream alongside those in the hope that words which have aided me so greatly on the page will go on to bear fruit in the ears of others.  I sincerely hope that this podcast is helpful and beneficial, and I look forward to interacting with others and seeing what good effects are wrought in me most of all through a devotion to good preaching, to the Word and to prayer.  I do a bit of blogging on my own, please feel free to check that out as well.

And the man without which Dave would be talking to an empty room:

My name is Jon Ladner, and I live in Denton, TX with my lovely wife, Rachel. I am a high school English teacher, a writer, a musician, and I have been doing audio production in varying capacities for several years now. Working on the Spurgeon Audio podcast is a privilege and a great opportunity to use my resources to edify the church, as well as an awesome excuse to dig into the compelling writings of Charles Spurgeon. I hope and pray that this podcast can be a powerful blessing to all our listeners.
